More Scenes From The Wild West

Enjoying some Pepperdine pie with Obata-sensei: friend, minister, and KEYNOTE LECTURER!

Enjoying clam chowder from Malibu Seafood...we've been going through major fish withdrawals.

Sweet baby Cailynn...she was kind enough to let us stay in her room during Lectures at Pepperdine. It was so good to meet her and to see Hannah and Jay.

The first camping trip of our married lives. First stop: Sedona.

This is what Mark looked like at the Grand Canyon most of the time.

Mark taught Miss Macbeth's kindergarten class how to count to 5 in Japanese and how to bow. Jyozu desu ne?!?

On The Road Again, Again

The koncho...if you don't know what it is, you haven't been a teacher in Japan

It's pretty grand

Don't we look so small? No smart-aleck comments, please:)

On The Road....AGAIN?

Actually, we're no longer on the road. The road trips have ceased, and now it's time for real life to commence. In the past two weeks, we've been to...
-Albuquerque
-Flagstaff
-Sedona
-The Grand Canyon
-Riverside
-Miss Macbeth's kindergarten class
-Malibu
-all of our favorite restaurants in Malibu
-Pepperdine
-Santa Barbara
-Newport Beach
-Balboa Island
-Venice/Santa Monica
-Abilene
We're ready to be in one place for awhile (well...kind of...). I'm sure our car is ready to rest as well. We'll be posting pictures soon--stay tuned for sisters in caps and gowns, friends with babies and babies-on-the-way, canyons, beaches, and fish tacos!
