The Spirit of Christmas (and other excuses)

After being shamed recently on our holiday blogging hiatus, I've decided to get back on the horse and fill your online browser with a healthy dose of New York style post-Christmas cheer.

Twas two weeks before Christmas and up from Brazil came one little missionary named Cristina Michelle. We froze in Times Square...
and hot dogs we ate. We knew right away that Christmas is great! But suddenly out West there arose sad chatter that a blizzard was coming, an impending disaster! Bob and Donna were delayed, that much was known, so in an act of solidarity we had snow of our own.

Without Bob and Donna, our Christmas was blighted. Yet right on time....

We were all reunited! And old saint Nick did not wish us to fret. As an bonus he brought us Kelly's Aunt Nette!

Set loose in New York, we were cold but perky. Bob's enthusiasm was fueled by turkey.

On the mean streets of New York, it feels so gritty

Bob and Donna's flat was so Sex and the City!

Sometimes in the crowds, you feel fenced in...

So, just in time, we escaped to Princeton.

Among the buildings, we saw Bob's dorm...

great buildings it's got, but it sure wasn't warm!

And suddenly, as soon as it started, our time had ended and we all parted. Well, not us... we'll stay around, it turns out Kelly and I are legally bound. We'll miss our family with all our might! Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight.
